THE ELECTRIC Syndicate, whose members met at Picton High School, will perform at numerous venues in Sydney during this month and August.

The band (pictured) are regulars on the pub and club circuit between Sydney and Wollongong and enjoy a strong following.

The Electric Syndicate (or TES as they call themselves) is made up of three members: Brendan Biddle (guitar and lead vocals), Robert Fagan (double bass, guitar and backing vocals) and Chris Jackson (drums).

The trio, who recently won the Scream competition, have gone on to receive praise from industry professionals like Rick Grossman from the Hoodoo Gurus and Colin Burgess from Masters Apprentices.

Biddle said a recent Luna Park show was such a success that another band, Urban Stone, were keen to start doing joint gigs in Sydney.

``We got the phone call and agreed without hesitation,'' Biddle said. `` I know we'll have an even better time these shows. The more the merrier.''
