Injury-plagued Magpies were no match for the Roosters at Victoria Park.

The Roosters only led 16-6 at the break but a great second-half performance secured the win.

The Magpies had no answer to Thirlmere/Tahmoor as they leaked 30 unanswered points in the second half.

The best players for Thirlmere were Adam Rae, Troy Wozniak and Jason Power. Picton's best were Nathan Willard, Darren Nolan and Clayton Parkyns.

Oakdale moved into second place on the Group 6 Country Rugby League first grade ladder on Sunday.

The Workers had a 32-10 win against Moss Vale with Bart Masters racking up half of Oakdale's points, scoring two tries and kicking four goals.

Running at the Moss Vale defence, Masters scored Oakdale's first try when he threw a dummy and ran in a four-pointer.

Oakdale extended the lead to 12-4 at half-time and continued their good form to go 26-4 ahead with 10 minutes left to play.

Best for Oakdale were Bart Masters, Todd Pes and David Lowe, while Chris Barton, Josh Saunders and Scott Drewe tried hard for the Dragons.

Narellan regrouped after forfeiting against Thirlmere/Tahmoor last week to post their third local derby win of the season against neighbours Camden.

The Jets scored first through a Daniel Washbourne try in their 32-18 victory.

Narellan opened up a 16-0 half-time lead, but the Rams hit back strongly in the second half with two converted tries to reduce the deficit to only four points. Unfortunately for Rams fans, there was only one more try from the boys in red, white and blue.

Narellan's Ryan Crocker, Gavin Wilson and Todd Black ran in tries for the Jets to put the result beyond doubt.

A late try to Glynn Bester brought Camden's score to 18, but it was a remarkable win for the Jets in their topsy-turvy season.

Daniel Washbourne, back from a neck injury, was best for Narellan, and Peter Lean and Scott Thompson also did great work for the Jets.

In Sunday's first grade games at 2.30pm, Moss Vale host Picton at Community Oval, Camden, at home against Thirlmere/Tahmoor at Kirkham Park and Narellan will take on Oakdale at Narellan Sportsground.
