Picton Men's Bowling Club No.6 Pennant team recently went through the Southern Districts Zone final undefeated to qualify for the state play-offs.

Coming off their victories at Austral's bowling greens, the men's team will head to Lismore to compete in the tournament, which starts on August 2.

They will play against zone winners from throughout NSW.

Meanwhile, Picton Women's Bowling Club has appointed Pat Wrightson as its new president.

She will take over from outgoing president Audrey Ferrara.

The women's club has 66 members.
