Oakdale stormed into the first grade grand final following a 46-8 victory against Moss Vale on Sunday.

The Workers' big forward pack played a key role in the big win.

David Lowe, Clint Mason, Bart Masters and Ron Jones controlled the game and set up a place in the final against Thirlmere/Tahmoor.

Although Moss Vale trailed 18-4 at half-time, the Dragons had no answers to Oakdale's try-scoring machine in the second half.

The lead blew out to 30-4 only 10 minutes into the second half.

Two Dragons' forwards being sent to the sin-bin did not help the Dragons' cause.

Best for Oakdale were Ron Jones, Bart Masters, Luke Barron and Todd Pes while the two players worthy of a mention for Moss Vale were Rob Noble and Mark Delamont. The undefeated Roosters seem to be red-hot favourites to win this year's grand final and have beaten Oakdale three times already this season.

The Roosters will have much experience in their line-up with forwards Peter Jensen and Troy Wozniak and big game players Leo Dynevor and Jason Sampson.

The Workers will be hoping to match the Roosters early in the game and unsettle them.

The Oaks got over the line with a close 16-12 win over Mittagong in the DNC Cup and will meet Appin in Sunday's grand final game.

The Oaks fullback Graeme Martin was one of the heroes when he ran 60 metres for a try to break the deadlock when the score was 12-all in the final minute.
